Who We Are
Indivisible Boca Raton is a grassroots, volunteer-led community working to defend democracy, protect human rights, and hold those in power accountable. We organize locally in Boca Raton and across South Florida, because real change does not start in Washington. It starts with people showing up where they live.
We are part of the national Indivisible movement, which formed in response to rising authoritarianism and attacks on democratic norms. Our chapter focuses on turning concern into action through peaceful protest, civic engagement, education, and coalition-building.

Our members come from different backgrounds, generations, and experiences, but we are united by a shared belief, democracy only works when people actively participate in it.
What We Believe
We believe in:
-
A democracy that works for everyone, not just the wealthy or well-connected
-
Equal rights, dignity, and safety for all people, without exception
-
Accountability for elected officials, regardless of party or position
-
Truth, transparency, and opposition to disinformation
-
Nonviolent resistance and collective action as tools for change
We reject political apathy, authoritarianism, and systems that concentrate power at the expense of communities.

What We Do
Indivisible Boca Raton organizes and supports:
-
Peaceful protests and demonstrations, including the No Kings protests across South Florida
-
Educational panels and public forums on civil rights, free speech, reproductive justice, immigration, and resisting authoritarianism
-
Coalition efforts with local, state, and national organizations
-
Economic resistance actions, including campaigns that support small businesses and challenge corporate abuse
-
Voter engagement and civic participation efforts
-
We do not exist to endorse candidates blindly. We exist to demand better from anyone who seeks power.

Who We Are Not
-
We are not a top-down organization.
-
We are not funded by corporations or special interests.
-
We are not interested in performative politics or empty slogans.
-
We are neighbors, workers, parents, retirees, students, and organizers who believe silence is not an option.
