The Boca Raton Tribune covered Indivisible Boca Raton's announcement of a community appearance by former U.S. Representative David Jolly, scheduled for Monday, September 8, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the South County Civic Center, 16700 Jog Road, Delray Beach.
The free, public event invited residents to hear Jolly's perspective on the current state of American politics, democratic institutions, and a path forward for the country. Jolly, a former Republican congressman who became one of the most prominent early critics of Donald Trump, has continued to speak out against the direction of the GOP.
"We're thrilled to welcome Congressman Jolly to Boca Raton," said Myra Kremenitzer, founder of Indivisible Boca Raton. "His experience and perspective are invaluable as we work together to build a stronger, more responsive democracy."
Kremenitzer noted Jolly's distinctive place in the political landscape. "David Jolly was one of the earliest and loudest critics of Donald Trump's candidacy in 2015. Unlike most of his former colleagues, he hasn't tempered his criticism. We're excited to hear his perspective on how we can fight for our country right here in Boca."
