Our Voter Outreach Committee is building neighborhood teams across Palm Beach County right now. We will match you with voters in your area, train you on the tools, and put you to work at whatever level you can commit to - whether that is three streets or a couple of hours a week.

What you will hear in this video:

Shelley Feingold, co-founder of the Cascades Caucus in Southwest Florida, built a Democratic organizing network in one of the reddest communities in the state. Registered Republicans outnumber Democrats 2 to 1 in her area. Her group’s community organizing model has now been adopted by more than 65 gated communities in Lee County and beyond. She will tell you exactly how they did it - and how you can do the same thing in your neighborhood.


Mark Beaumont, President of Palm Beach Indivisibles and a member of the Palm Beach County Democratic Party Executive Committee, has been organizing at the county level since 2016. His precinct-based neighbor-to-neighbor program increased Democratic voter turnout by 8-10% over two election cycles. He will walk you through the strategy and explain why organizing year-round - not just at election time - is the only approach that works.


Linda Rosenthal, Indivisible Boca Raton’s own Zone 15 Precinct and Zone Leader, President of the Boca/Delray Democratic Club, and a driving force behind IBR’s Voter Outreach Committee, will brief you on the tools we are now deploying: VAN, Scale to Win, the dialer, and Mobilize. In one beta test, our team sent 9,000 text messages with a single click. In another, volunteers completed 4,000 phone calls in under an hour. These are not hypothetical capabilities. They are live and ready.


Why this matters right now:

Palm Beach County had 100,000 more registered Democrats than any other party in 1996. That margin is now approximately 10,000. Every vote counts.


Florida’s August 18th primary is closer than it looks. Voters with no party affiliation cannot vote in that primary. Many of them do not know that. We do - and we are going to reach them before it is too late.


Here’s what the next phase looks like:

We are deploying the VAN (a voter registration database) to identify voters in your neighborhood - registered Democrats, low-turnout voters, and no-party-affiliation voters who could decide every competitive race on the August 18th primary ballot. Your job is to reach them face to face, because nothing moves a voter like a neighbor at the door.

Read the Canvassing Guide. It will tell you what to expect at the door, how to handle tough conversations, and how to log what you learn. Then sign up with the Voter Outreach Committee and we will connect you with voters in your own neighborhood.
