This is a nonpartisan mayoral race, but values, experience, and accountability still matter. In this video, Andy Thomson talks about his lifelong connection to Boca Raton and why he’s running for mayor. Andy is a product of this community, raising his family here, and bringing years of hands-on experience from City Council into the mayor’s race. First elected to Boca Raton City Council in 2018 and reelected in 2020 and 2024, Andy has spent years working on local boards and tackling the real issues facing residents, from responsible growth and transparency to protecting neighborhoods and strengthening public trust in local government.
This campaign is about steady leadership, deep community roots, and putting Boca Raton residents first, not special interests or political games.
